Personality is an everyday term we all know and use.

The ways psychological scientists talk about personality in their formal course of study presents puzzling challenges and raises new questions about what really makes us, us.

Did you know the popular Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) test is not typically used as a personality index in psychological science? Instead, psychologists tend to draw on "The Big Five" to measure personality. "The Big Five" includes the following traits:
